La empresa papelera chilena La Papelera del Plata, después de dos días de bloqueo en sus plantas de Buenos Aires y San Luis, las dos en Argentina, cedió a las presiones del Sindicato de Camioneros y se comprometió al encuadramiento gremial de los trabajadores ligados al transporte y la logística.Es que a los bloqueos, el sindicato sumó amenazas de cerrar los pasos fronterizos a Chile y de realizar marcha rumbo a la embajada trasandina, para meter mayor presión.
Todo se destrabó ayer, tras una larga reunión entre las partes llevada a cabo en el Ministerio de Trabajo. Pablo Moyano, titular del Sindicato de Camioneros confirmó a la salida que la papelera había aceptado “el blanqueo del personal y el pago de un retroactivo en junio a partir de la diferencia de salarios existente”, ya que la empresa paga “1.900 pesos y no los 6.000 que tiene que cobrar el trabajador” por los recorridos habituales que realizan los camioneros"
Por su parte, Jorge Pérez Alati, presidente de la papelera había expresado en un comunicado que la empresa terceriza las operaciones de logística, aclarando que “Los 1.300 trabajadores de La Papelera del Plata, por su actividad están comprendidos en el Convenio Colectivo de la Industria del Papel, Cartón y Celulosa y no hay, ni tiene porque haberlo, vínculo alguno con el Sindicato de Camioneros de Moyano”. De todas formas la empresa se comprometió a controlar que las empresas que le prestan servicios de transporte tengan a su personal debidamente registrado, con lo cual destrabó el conflicto.
